Simply Amazing

It doesn’t even look like the other teams are trying on a lot of plays. Its like “oh here steal it mr jordan, and while you’re at it please dunk on me so i can get in a picture with you. Sir!”

Actually basketball players come from Europe, from USA… just athletes than can play fast, jump high and play one2one

You’re judging a whole era by 10 plays compiled by some random fan. If you want “flashy” plays, you should tune in to ESPN classic during all-star weekend. They show old all-star games. The best ones are from the late 80’s and early 90’s w/ Magic and Isiah running the floor. Those games make the recent all-star games look boring.

This team is the reason why today’s USA basketball teams are losing to other countries. The impact that they had on international basketball was so overwhelming that, for the past three years, even the contendership for the NBA MVP is dominated by international talent.

The difference between these “tame” guys and today’s “flash” guys? The tame guys won.

Chris Mullin was in the All-NBA Team 1991-1992,actually he was number one picked in that team,so if you don’t know your facts, just shut the **** up.

Jordan vowed not to participate if Isaiah was to beincludedd on the team. Being the smart people that they were, they did not argue the point.

greatest team ever assembled and will never even come close to being duplicated again.

great team but it is amazing how tame these highlights are. the level of flash today is light years ahead of these days. I guess it is to be expected though since the generation of today used these guys as building blocks.

if only kobe wouldn’t be so selfish and play the national team, then maybe, just maybe, he can be started to compare with the likes of jordan, johnson, bird
March 27th, 2009 at 1:57 pm
Isiah and Dominique would’ve been better choices instead of Mullin and Laettner.

This the best dream team or shall we say the real dream teamk.

both of those teams were great but the 2000 team was the most fun to watch vince carter putting down alley oop windmills and jumping over people great stuff

The #1 play with Barkley & Pippen was definately #1…but I was more impressed with Clyde Drexlers dunks. i forgot how good the “glide” really was. The other thing I noticed was that the plays weren’t as “flashy” as some of today’s BUT!!! the plays that they made were executed nicely to the point that they looked classy and pretty. As some of you already mentioned, we will never see a greater team like this. Never!

kool but isiah thomas wasnt there
April 6th, 2009 at 10:23 pm
It was the best team ever but it could have been better. Isaiah Thomas should have been there. Everyone wanted Jordan to play but when he saw the first team lineup in it had Isaiah instead of Stockton. Jordan said no. Stockton was added and Isaiah dropped. Jordan looked at that list and said yes..

Scottie Pippen in almost every action!
